千代田図書館情報誌の最新号が完成しました。今回特集は「初夏の手みやげ」ほか、図書館のイベント情報など賑やかに紹介されています。今回も表紙イラストを担当、本と街と季節、日常のリズムをテーマにしています。

ありがたいご依頼を頂き、アパレルプランド「P of O」さんの”Chain Reaction”というリレー連載にテキストとイラストを寄稿させて頂きました。
“多様性”と”調和”をテーマに、民族衣装の要素を取り入れながら、現代の私たちの生活のありかたを考える、とても素敵なブランドです。

私たちは「多様性」と「調和」を表現しています。それは、有形無形を問わず、時には具体的に時には抽象的に表されます。異質なもの同士を組み合わせたり、重ね合わせたり、引いたり足したりすることで起こる創造と愛着を提案します。

プリントの上にプリントするように自分自身のストーリーを作ることがprinciple of overprintの精神です。
